From April 1st till April 30th Marianna Fontein will show her latest work in Exhibtion 21. at House Of Craziness, Rotterdam.
Exhibition 21. is dedicated to buildings. During this exhibition, Marianne Fontein shows images and drawings of high-rise buildings in Rotterdam, in which she takes the viewer through a repetition of a gouache colored city.
The works immediately match the visitor through the combination of the beautiful colors with the painful abandonment. She draws her raw reality with a fine writer from top right to bottom left. Despite or just because of this law, she discovers an infinite DNA through inheritance, just like Gregor Mendel.
Marianne Fontein lives and works in Rotterdam since 1980 and it is the first time that this work can be seen in Rotterdam.
